Choose your setup
On your own computer
The local macOS and Windows variants process recordings on your computer. Audio and text are not sent to a cloud service. The speech model must be installed before use.
macOS / Windows
Through a dedicated server
In the server variant, you use Sayto in your browser and send audio to the Sayto server for transcription. This setup is suitable when processing should run on a separate machine.
Browser access
Both variants delete the temporary audio file after transcription. The server transcription step does not permanently store transcripts.
