Vocabulary learning

VocabSnap: your photos become learning material

A page from a book, a sign, or your own notes: use photographed text as the starting point for vocabulary practice in your browser.

How VocabSnap works

1. Choose and upload

Choose a target language and difficulty, then upload a photo with readable text. Text recognition extracts the words from the image.

2. Build a vocabulary set

AI prepares vocabulary with translations, definitions, and example sentences. Review the results before using them for learning.

3. Practice and listen

Use flashcards to review your vocabulary, generate pronunciation audio, and return to saved sets through the learning history.

Learning with your own material

Connect vocabulary practice to texts you encounter in everyday life, lessons, or work. VocabSnap supports eleven target languages, including German, English, and Turkish.

Browser app with online processing

Images are processed on the application server. Recognized text is sent to an external AI service for vocabulary extraction; pronunciation audio uses an external speech service. These features require an internet connection and configured services.
